About Us

Dr. Christine J. Kurz operates as a plastic surgeon at University Hospital of Northern British Columbia (Prince George, B.C.), G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital (Quesnel, B.C.) and St. John Hospital (Vanderhoof, B.C.). Before relocating to northern British Columbia, she held staff surgical posts at Women’s College Hospital, Sunnybrook Hospital and the Toronto Regional Cancer Centre in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Kurz has spent time training with world-renowned plastic surgeons in Banff, Toronto and Boston (Harvard).

Our nursing and aesthetics staff perform non-invasive procedures such as laser and facial treatments in our comfortable office environment. Additionally, our staff will be pleased to provide comprehensive advice and recommendations for personalized skin care plans. Medical grade skin care products & treatments, including advanced laser aesthetics, are conveniently available in our central Prince George office location.

Dr. Kurz is certified as a Plastic Surgeon by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia and the B.C. Medical Association. Dr. Kurz is also a member of the Northern Medical Society and is a Clinical Instructor at UBC. Following the completion of her Plastic Surgery training at the University of Alberta, Dr. Kurz pursued additional subspecialty training in Breast Reconstruction and Cosmetic Surgery with Dr. John Semple and Dr. Mitchell Brown in Toronto. Dr. Kurz has also trained with world-renowned surgeons Dr. Hall Findlay (Banff) and Dr. Mulliken (Harvard).

All of the above qualifications, training and experience allow Dr. Kurz to combine her thorough knowledge of anatomy, her technical skills and innovations, and her aesthetic sense to provide her patients with the results they desire in a safe and comfortable environment.

Some non-invasive procedures are performed by nursing staff or senior estheticians, under the direction of Dr. Kurz. Examples of non-invasive procedures include certain types of laser treatments and chemical peels. Our nursing staff have either RN or LPN certification. Results, safety and comfort are our top priorities.
